The Bruin Leader's Project Certificate of Leadership is available to all students. The Certificate is presented to the recipient at the end of the academic year at our annual Recognition Reception by the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Student and Campus Life. The Certificate is a notice of your accomplishment and sign of your dedication in becoming a better leader and citizen.
To receive the Certificate of Leadership, the participant must complete at least six seminars. In addition, the participant must take part in meaningful and dedicated community service. The six seminars must be chosen as follows:
The Capstone Seminar must be your final seminar. You can do a book substitution for one of the required elective seminars.
You need not finish the Certificate requirements in any quarter or academic year. You can take as long as you want to complete the requirements. However, be sure to take part in continued and on-going service.
